Don't forget to take the 15-mile trip along US highway 341 to Forsyth. While on the square, stop in and sample some delicious southern cooking in the restaurants or enjoy a cold treat from an old-fashioned drug store ice cream counter. You can also visit the Monroe County Museum and Genealogy Library or take the guided driving tour to learn more about this area's colorful past.
